Kevin Eastwood
Title: Producer, Do You really Want to Know?

Kevin Eastwood is a Gemini and Leo Award-winning producer and director. Most recently Kevin produced Do You Really Want to Know?, a documentary about predictive genetic testing directed by Academy Award-winning director, John Zaritsky. The film premiered at this year’s DOXA Documentary Film Festival and won two Golden Sheaf Awards (for Best Documentary and Best Director) at the Yorkton Film Festival. Kevin also executive produced The Crimes of Mike Recket, premiering at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival and directed by Vancouver indie auteur, Bruce Sweeney. Kevin’s previous films include the feature documentary, Eco-Pirate: The Story of Paul Watson, about the controversial environmental activist; the cult hit zombie comedy, Fido, starring Carrie-Anne Moss and Billy Connolly; and the Canadian box office hit comedy The Delicate Art of Parking. Among his television credits, Kevin was the Supervising Producer on the Gemini Award-winning CTV movie, Elijah, about Canadian First Nations leader, Elijah Harper; and was the Co-producer on the CBC Television series This Space For Rent. As a director, Kevin’s credits include the music video for "Post-War Blues” by Dan Mangan; the Gemini-nominated artist profile doc, Douglas Coupland, Pop Artist and a documentary series for Animal Planet about animal hoarders.
