Elizabeth Yake

Elizabeth Yake (Everything’s Gone Green, It’s All Gone Pete Tong) is president of True West Films. TWF focuses primarily on developing and producing features films, specifically international co-productions, destined for the world market. Her latest show will shoot later this year, Hadwin’s Judgement: TheMaking of an Enviromental Terrorist, based on the story also told in the Governor General’s Award winning book The Golden Spruce, in co-production with the NFB (Canada) and Passion Pictures (UK). She is preparing to shoot the short film Pilgrims written/directed by Marie Clements for BRAVO! and is in development of a TV talk show for APTN with Frog Girl Films starring Evan Adams. She is currently working on her MA, Writing for the Screen and Stage, at Regent’s College, UK. TWF is based on Salt Spring Island with an office in Vancouver, BC.
